PRESENTER & SPEAKER

Alongside my marketing work, for the last 10 years I’ve developed a career as a presenter and speaker.

After winning a nationwide competition to become one of the presenters on Loose Women, I went on to be a contributor on This Morning, Sky News and BBC Breakfast. In addition, I am often heard discussing many and varied topical issues on The Jeremy Vine Show on BBC Radio 2 and have appeared on BBC London, LBC and on BBC Radio 5live. This all led to taking my talk ‘How Loose Women Changed My Life’ around the country and to presenting other events too.

I love speaking to an audience, whether it’s as a keynote to a women’s organisation or after dinner speaker to a corporate audience. I am also an experienced presenter, host, facilitator and charity auctioneer. My talks have been described as inspiring, dynamic and very witty (and that wasn’t only by my Mum).

I have now developed a talk to focus on my portfolio career and the varied working life I lead. I talk about how I’ve surprised myself by thriving in this wonderfully diverse working world after many years in a ‘proper job’ and how I manage to jump between my very different workplace demands, sometimes on an hourly basis. I also wax lyrical about the importance of networking and how joining a women’s networking group last year has helped me develop in many unexpected ways.

"Rachel spoke at the Working Woman Expo in Sheffield. She is confident, entertaining & full of inspiration; her talk was fun, energetic and sincere, simply a delight on stage and utterly professional off stage. She tuned into the audience and engaged them with a light hearted style, a pure breath of fresh air. A highly professional lady, with heaps of energy and positivity. She is a great speaker and inspired the audience with her accounts of her experiences both in her working and personal life. I would definitely recommend her to any group looking for a fantastic inspirational speaker and a bit of fun.’
